  1. Why choose us?
    We are usability people first, designers second. What does that mean? We place a priority on the usefulness, usability, speed and function of the site over the way it looks. So do your users. Good usability translates into effectiveness, and an effective website contributes to your bottom line.
  2. What do you need to get started?
    We need your content. This includes your copy (words of text), logo and any relevant photos (especially product shots). If you don't have any of these, let us know and we can point you to one of our trusted partners.
  3. How do we work together?
    We work exclusively via the internet - through email or our client extranet. For purposes of documentation and observance of different time zones, we don't communicate via phone, VOIP or instant messaging.
  4. How much does a "typical" website cost?
    A "typical" site that is requested for is brochureware. Brochureware is simply a site with no interactivity (ecommerce, forums, galleries, etc) except for an online contact form. A site that is under 10 pages starts at $250.
  5. Why are we so cheap?
    Through years of experience, we've gained considerable expertise, so we're much more efficient than our competitors. (Unless, of course, you want us to increase the price especially for you.)
  6. What are your payment terms?
    We charge 50% upon agreement and then 50% upon completion of the project deliverables.
  7. How do I pay you?
    You can pay via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to make payment via credit card.
  8. Will you upload the finished site to my hosting account?
    Yes, but you will need to provide us with your FTP information. You can always request this from your web host. If you don't have a web host, we can point you to one of our partners.
  9. What if I need to update my site later?
    Contact us with your update requests and we will respond with a cost estimate. We typically charge $10/hour for maintenance and updates.
